    Hollabox does not sell, rent or lease your personal information to any third parties.

    This Privacy Policy details how information is collected, used and disclosed by Hollabox Ltd. with respect to all publicly accessible Hollabox platforms used by yourself these being; the website (www.hollabox.com), the mobile application (Hollabox) and with connections to any authorised profiles or pages representing Hollabox on social networking services such as (but not limited to) the following: www.facebook.com/hollabox, www.twitter.com/hollaboxapp.

    What Information Do We Collect?

    We collect certain information when you connect to or use Hollabox in various ways. This information may be information that can identify you as a person or non-personal information and is either collected automatically or as a result of your specific input of the information. All information collected in any way is referred to collectively in this Policy as "Information." All Information is currently processed and stored in the United Kingdom on either Hollabox’s servers or within Firebase Hollabox Database.

    Among the types of Information that Hollabox collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Cookie, Usage data and Geographic position. The Information may be freely provided by the User, or collected automatically when using this Application. Any use of Cookies or of other tracking tools by Hollabox or by the owners of third party services used by Hollabox, unless stated otherwise, serves to identify Users and remember their preferences, for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the User. Failure to provide certain Information may make it impossible for Hollabox to provide its services. Users are responsible for any Information of third parties obtained, published on or shared through Hollabox and confirm that they have the third party's consent to provide the Information.

    Sign-Up via Facebook

    We collect the following Information when you sign up for the Hollabox App via your Facebook account: Permissions asked: About Me, Access Friend Lists, Email, List of Friends, Facebook ID and a Timestamp. We collect all of the above information automatically after explicit authorisation by the User as part of the Facebook sign up process. This data forms your Hollabox in-app profile, and provides validation of all Hollabox users. If you want us to delete the data we receive from Facebook about you, please submit a request to Hollabox support (Please Note: this will mean the termination of any linked Hollabox profile). By connecting your Hollabox account to your account on any social networking site, you consent to the continuous release of information about you from the social networking site to Hollabox while the accounts remain connected. The Sign-Up via Facebook can be skipped but results in limited functionality within the Hollabox app.


    User Registration and Authentication

    By registering to Hollabox through Facebook Log-in, Users allow Hollabox further access to identify and authenticate them. Third parties may provide registration and authentication services. In this case, Hollabox will be able to access some Data, stored by these third party services, for registration or identification purposes. With the use of Facebook Authentication, the registration and authentication service is provided by Facebook, Inc. and is connected to the Facebook social network with various types of Data collected and used as specified in the Facebooks privacy policy of the service.

    Location Information

    In addition to the geographic Information collected when you log in, we automatically receive an approximation of your geographic location when you use the Hollabox App functions. Explicit authorization for Hollabox to track User’s location data is provided immediately from use of the Hollabox App whilst opted in to geolocation services on your device. Hollabox may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services. Location tracking can be enabled or disabled through your mobile device settings (although turning off or restricting access of location data to the Hollabox App, will greatly decrease the functionality and experience of the Hollabox App).


    In the course of providing our Service on third party platforms, such as Apple’s App Store, the platforms may collect Information about you or receive Information from us in order for the platform to provide or analyze their services. Please note that these platforms were developed and administered by people or companies not affiliated with or controlled by Hollabox and Hollabox is not responsible for the actions of those people or companies. You should carefully review the terms of use and privacy policies of the platforms that you use to access our Service.

    How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

    We use Information for the following purposes:

    • to administer our websites and provide our services or information you request to process and complete any transactions.

    • to promote Hollabox in general and to provide you with advertising of interest to you.

    • to identify your location to other Hollabox users, if you choose to use this feature and function.

    • to respond to your emails, submissions, questions, comments, requests, and complaints and provide customer service.

    • to increase the functionality and user friendliness of our services.

    • to monitor and analyse user behaviour and trends; to track visitor movement and activity in the aggregate (for example, to give us information about what parts of the websites users are visiting)

    • to personalise and improve Hollabox products and features and your experiences when you use Hollabox, such as providing content or features that match your profile, location or interests;

    • to send you confirmations, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and otherwise facilitate your use of, and our administration and operation of, our services;

    • help prevent fraud or other misuse of our services and for any other stated purpose for which the Information was collected.
    In addition, we may use your email address to send you emails for promotional purposes (e.g., newsletters, new product offerings, new features, event notifications and third-party offers). Email messages we send to you may contain code that enables our database to track your usage of the emails, including whether the email was opened and what links (if any) were clicked. If you would rather not receive promotional emails from us, please see the section in each email to Opt-Out from future emails.

    Who is Your Data Passed on to?

    Hollabox does not sell, rent or lease your personal information to any third parties.

    What Information Can the Other Users See?

    The main purpose of using Hollabox is to interact and discover with what is within your community. None of your information is shared within anyone else on Hollabox or anywhere else on the web. Hollabox is a closed app meaning your information is stored within the app and only visible to yourself, there is no way to obtain information about other users of Hollabox.

    What Steps Do We Take To Protect Your Information?

    While we take measures to protect your Information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse and un-authorised access, disclosure and alteration, despite our efforts, no security measures are impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

    Deleting Account Information

    You can delete your account by emailing support@hollabox.com with your account name location and a deactivate and delete request. This process can take time to complete and to fully complete deactivation and deletion of your Hollabox Profile. You will receive a confirmation email that your upon our completion of deleting all information related to and within your account.

    Changes to this Statement

    In the case of changes to this privacy statement we will post the revised statement here with an updated revision date. If we make major fundamental changes to this statement, we may also inform you in other ways such as by email or by a notice on our homepage.
